In the early morning of Friday September 8, our office received multiple reports of a landslide at Kong Sin Wan next to The ISF Academy. Within hours, the Fire Services Department, Buildings Department and Geotechnical Engineering Office inspected the area and determined that there was no imminent danger to structures or life. The ISF Academy, the maintenance agent of the slope, took swift action over the weekend. Further remedial works will be carried out. The last major landslide in Pokfulam took place in 1992 next to Baguio Villa. That one did unfortunately result in fatalities. Click here for more information.
