The first stage of Wah Fu Estate redevelopment is to build five public housing sites (link) to be able to decant the residents from the old buildings. The Civil Engineering and Development Department has started on site formation works. Once completed, the Housing Department will start construction in 2024. The first batch of housing blocks will be completed in 2027/2028. The focus of our meetings and site visits with CEDD was to meet their contractor and to identify measures to minimise the impact on traffic flow along Victoria Road.
