In the meantime, residents and my Office met with the Food and Health Bureau to explain the concerns over crowd control and traffic management given the limited road space and pavements at places not more than 50cm wide. We are awaiting feed-back from the Bureau. In the meantime, the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department has issued new guidelines requiring early public consultation for columbarium projects.
