Wild boars captured at the Park yesterday 漁農署昨日捉了4隻野豬

AFCD caught two large and two medium size wild boars at the Waterfront Park yesterday. They have been relocated to the country parks in the New Territories. Since September 2019, AFCD relocated 11 wild boars from Pokfulam and will continue their "Capture, Contraceptive and Rehome/Release Programme " in 2020.

漁農署昨日於數碼港海濱公園捉了4隻野豬，分別為兩大兩中。署方已將牠們搬遷到新界偏遠的郊野公園範圍。漁農署會繼續於薄扶林進行「野豬避孕及搬遷計劃」。自2019年9月起，他們於區內先後捕捉及搬遷了11隻野豬。

After days of feeding and surveillance, AFCD caught one adult female boar (85kg) and one male small boar (27kg) near Bisney Road. The female boar was given contraceptive medication and they have both been relocated to the country parks in the New Territories after they recovered from their sedation.

AFCD will continue their operations in Pokfulam as part of their "Capture, Contraceptive and Rehome/Release Programme". Since 2017, they have caught and relocated 7 boars in Pokfulam.

漁農署早前開始於區內餵飼野豬，令牠們適應行動的環境。今日署方於碧荔道附近捕捉了一隻雌性成年野豬（重85公斤）及一隻雄性未成年野豬（重27公斤）。獸醫已為雌性野豬注射避孕疫苗。署方會將牠們搬遷到新界偏遠的郊野公園範圍。

漁農署會繼續於薄扶林進行「野豬避孕及搬遷計劃」。自2017年，他們於區內先後捕捉及搬遷了7隻野豬。

The population of wild boars in Pokfulam is expanding. A large number of young ones have been spotted. To be able capture, neuter and relocate them the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department will start a controlled feed of this family at the slopes behind the Sandy Bay Fire Station mid-September. The feeding pattern will help the capture. In the meantime, make sure to keep your garbage locked up. Place refuse outside for collection only just before the collection times. 薄扶林區內的野豬數目出現上升趨勢，多隻小野豬頻頻於街道出沒。漁農署會於9月中在沙灣消防局後方的斜坡餵飼野豬，以降低牠們的戒心，隨後再進行捕捉、避孕及搬遷行動。另外，請大家繼續確保於垃圾車到達前一刻才將垃圾放於道路旁邊。如有查詢，歡迎電郵我們。
