Due to the increasing number of complaints from the residents over the nuisance and hygiene problems caused by wild boars, AFCD carried out an operation yesterday at Bisney Road. Three wild boars were tranquilised (57kg, 30kg and 22kg). Contraceptives were given to the two females. The boars are unharmed and will be released in country parks on Hong Kong Island.
Please do not feed the boars, and dispose garbage properly. Do let us know time and place when you see people feeding. Put garbage out for collection shortly before the trucks come by. Do not leave it out overnight. It creates unintentional problems. When you do encounter boars, do not panic. As long as boars can get away, they will. Never trap, corner or scare them. 由於最近多了居民投訴野豬頻頻出沒並帶來衛生及滋擾等問題，漁農署昨日於碧荔道捕捉了3隻野豬（57公斤、30公斤及25公斤）。署方為兩隻雌性野豬注射了避孕疫苗。3隻野豬健康情況正常，稍後會搬遷到港島區偏遠的郊野公園範圍。
我們亦奉勸居民不要將袋裝垃圾通宵留於路邊，並切勿餵飼野豬。如你目睹有人餵飼野豬，請告訴我們相關的時間及地點。如遇到野豬，請保持冷靜。切勿令牠們感到驚慌或受困，盡量給予牠們充分空間離開。詳情請按連結瀏覽漁農署的小冊子。
