Thank you for completing our survey on Electronic Road Pricing.
The Pokfulam community appears evenly split: 45.9% of the respondents supported the scheme whilst 48.2% opposed.
We submitted the findings to Government and pointed out that there are significant concerns over the service levels of the bus and minibus services Pokfulam relies without an MTR.
As a result residents continue to use private transport and are concerned over the impact electronic road pricing might have.
首先感謝大家早前參與我們的「電子道路收費」網上意見調查。
調查結果顯示薄扶林居民對計劃的支持度與反對度相若：45.9％的受訪者對計劃表示支持，48.2％的受訪者對計劃表示反對。
我們已向政府遞交調查報告，並指出薄扶林區尚未有港鐵服務連接，而區內小巴及巴士服務班次不穩定。居民因此而選擇利用私家車代步，對「電子道路收費」計劃所帶來的影響表示擔憂。

The government is consulting the public on its proposed pilot scheme for electronic road pricing in Central. (Click here for the public engagement document).
The deadline for comments is 18 March 2016.
Do you support the proposal? Object? Any views on the details? You can write to Government directly, or take part in my online survey (link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/GX9WDJM). My office will consolidate and report the Pokfulam responses to the government.
In the meantime, below please find my personal view as published in Southside magazine – in short I propose there is no charging for the use of Connaught/Gloucester Road Corridor, but for the use of the inner areas only.
