Improving crossing at Bel-Air Phase 1&2
Following the accident in December 2020 and subsequent survey, the Transport Department proposes to improve the existing zebra crossing at Cyberport Road near Bel-Air Phase 1 & 2:

• Widening the traffic island by 0.5m
• Adding an additional beacon at the traffic island
• Adding lane markings to visually narrow each lane from 3.5m down to 3.3m
• Improving the illuminance of street lights near the crossing by 60% (completed)

We will urge the Transport Department to proceed with the above improvements. Once completed, the department and our office will review the need to add traffic lights. Do let us know whether you have concerns via: [email protected] .

2020年12月發生交通意外後，居民透過問卷調查表達了意見。運輸署現建議改善貝沙灣一二期對出斑馬線，措施如下（連結）：

• 擴闊安全島半米
• 於安全島增設一盞黃波燈
• 修改路面標記，每條行車線的闊度將由3.5米收窄至3.3米
• 將斑馬線前後的街燈亮度提高六成（已完成）
