Local real estate agents have gone mad plastering Pokfulam with notices. Legislation requires FEHD enforcement agents to catch the culprit red handed – which is difficult with limited resources – and the penalty imposed is negligible. We have written to real estate agents, and 3 times this year to the Estate Agents Authority. They refuse to allocate resources to enforcement and cleansing. Local residents are fed up. In the absence of government action, they have started to remove the bills and notices themselves as soon as they appear. They also send us photographs of agents who are plastering bills and notices. You can do so too. We will continue to lodge reports to FEHD and the EAA. Until they stop.
