The new evening return bus service of 33X will start from 25 September 2023. The bus will depart from Sai Wan Ho at 5:55pm and 6:15pm on weekdays. The service runs via the Central-Wanchai Bypass to reach Cyberport. Pokfulam residents who work in Island East may consider making use of this service to return home. This website will no longer be updated. 司馬文區議員的任期於2023年12月31日屆滿。此網站不會再有任何更新。 Transport Department has published the Bus Route Planning Programme for Southern District 2022-2023, its annual review of bus routes. They propose extending bus 30X to run between Cyberport and Admiralty. Click here for the paper on 30X and here on the full paper on bus routes in the Southern District. One double decker bus would be added to keep the existing headway at 15-20 minutes. The new full fare would be $8.2 but for passengers going to/getting off at Central, the fare would remain at $7.7 if you use the same octopus card when alighting the bus. The stop at Exchange Square will be replaced by the stops at Connaught Place outside the general post office or Connaught Road Central outside Statue Square depending on the bound. The target implementation date would be the third quarter of 2022. Transport Department has approved a fare increase of 50 cents (new full fare $10.40) for minibus 8 and 8X, effective coming Sunday 6 March 2022. The last fare increase was in October 2018 (40 months ago). Click here for official notice.
For 69A, 69X and 69, the fare increase is 80 cents, 90 cents and 90 cents ($6.3 to Aberdeen, $11.5 to Causeway Bay and $12.9 to Quarry Bay), effective coming Sunday 6 March 2022. The last fare adjustment was in July 2019 (31 months ago). Today, this is still the case. We raised this in 2015 in the District Council and LegCo and again this week. If we can’t be a smart city when it comes to simple things, how can we be smart about bigger issues. We have received promises from Transport Department that they will now fix this, Let’s see. 35年前,我初到香港的時候小巴乘客經常要走到車輛前方看看是哪一條路線。35年後情況沒有改變。我們於2015年的區議會會議及立法會聽證會上要求政府解決此問題,星期一的區議會會議我們再次討論此議題。所謂智慧城市理應能解決這個非常簡單的事宜。運輸署承諾會處理並解決此問題。
The bus departed from Cyberport at 07:45 and passed by Bel-Air a few minutes later. The bus arrived at HKU MTR station at 08:07, North Point Java Road at 08:15, Quarry Bay near Taikoo Place at 08:26, Cityplaza at 08:30 and terminus in Sai Wan Ho at 08:32. Keep in mind that traffic was relatively light today as Easter travel has started. Click here for the service details.
